Comments

Hundreds of specimens were recorded from the Shuanshi, Marlian, Parlian, Tamshuei, Holong, Jongkang, Darchia, Tatu and Joshuei Rivers. Although this species was described from its type locality, Lake Candidius, it can only be found around nearby drainages of the Tatu and Joshuei Rivers but not in the lake since only R. giurinus is a lacustrine species (Ref. 13111). Also Ref. 31517.
